Saturday play in the Men's singles
An impressive 34 men entered the singles.
Players left in on Sunday.
Under the 2 life system Sue and Linda had 1 life each and Cecilie had 2. Sue beat Linda and then Cecilie before the main final, between them again.... which Cecilie won.

Last Feb/March for 6 Wednesday evenings we held a VERY successful Burger & Bowls Summer Series.
If you know any local businesses who are interested please tell them as numbers are limited and some missed out last year.
National Bowls Pairs 1/4 Finalists.
Cecilie & Rosemary surprised themselves and several younger representative players by reaching the 1/4 finals of the National Pairs Champs.

Sudden rain early afternoon. On this rink the players were in their FIRST end!

Open Ham Tournament
32 teams from other clubs as well as our members enjoyed a lovely fine day of bowls.
After years of trying!!
First Time Ham Winners!! .....with 4 wins, Rosemary Ken & Cecilie .
6 teams won hams plus prizes for the best 'other' mixed, men's and women's teams.

The women's team came second in the 1st Division, so will be promoted to the Premier Division next season.

The Post Section play started on the all weather for 6 teams, with the winners going on to the grass to play the quarter finals and semifinals. The FINAL will be played at 10 am on Sunday 15th November.
